Day 01 :

Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park & Night Game Drive

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam at around 5:30 AM. Enjoy a scenic 5–6-hour drive to Mikumi National Park, with a stop in Morogoro for a hot lunch.Upon arrival, check in at Camp Bastian Mikumi and relax before your evening adventure. After dinner, embark on an exciting Night Game Drive from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM in an open 4×4 safari vehicle equipped with a spotlight. Accompanied by a professional safari guide and an armed park ranger, you'll have the opportunity to discover the park's fascinating nocturnal wildlife.Look out for elusive species such as leopards, civets, aardvarks, porcupines, genets, mongooses, bush pigs, spotted hyenas, lions, and hippos grazing under the cover of darkness.

Day 02 :

Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania's most rewarding wildlife destinations. The park's open plains, often compared to the Serengeti, offer excellent opportunities to spot a wide variety of wildlife.
During your safari, you may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous antelope species.
Mikumi is also a paradise for bird lovers, with more than 400 recorded bird species, including Marabou Storks, Lilac-breasted Rollers, Bateleur Eagles, Yellow-throated Longclaws, Hornbills, Malachite Kingfishers, Guinea Fowls, and many more.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, return to Mikumi Wildlife Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Udzungwa Mountains National Park – Sanje Waterfalls Hike

Following breakfast, drive approximately 1.5 hours to Udzungwa Mountains National Park with packed lunch boxes.Accompanied by an experienced park ranger, hike through the lush tropical rainforest to the spectacular Sanje Waterfalls, one of Tanzania's most beautiful natural attractions. Along the way, enjoy the rich biodiversity of the Eastern Arc Mountains, home to endemic monkeys, colorful butterflies, and a variety of birdlife.At the waterfalls, take in breathtaking panoramic views and enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear natural pools before relaxing with your packed lunch.In the afternoon, descend the mountain and transfer to Udzungwa Forest Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Udzungwa – Dar es Salaam

After a leisurely breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Dar es Salaam.Enjoy the scenic drive back through southern Tanzania before arriving in the city, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, the airport, or the ferry terminal, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
